I just want to thank Calvin for his advice. I called him about the screen on my Lenovo laptop having a mind of its own... at times, with programs opening and closing randomly and big circles on the screen. I thought I would have to bring it in, but in a 5 minute phone call, Calvin told me how to disable the screen. Such great service and such a giving person. Thanks!read more

Had to replace my keyboard just to fix the power button, but was worth it. The wait came from waiting for the part to... arrive. Price was reasonable-mostly how much the part costed. Always stayed updated via emails. Thank you Daniel & Calvin.read more

Daniel looked at my laptop and was familiar with the problem having seen it before in similar models. While other... places wanted to replace parts on the motherboard at a high price, Calvin fixed it within 2 days at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.read more

They sure do not have a magic wand, but you can be sure that these guys are honest and trustworthy, and that's... something you cannot say about many in this particular business. Believe me, I have tried others. You can trust that they will do their best to fix your problem and be open with you if their attempts fail. Although they could not identify and fix the cause of my Dell’s out-of-sync clock problem, the problem went away when they replaced my hard drive after it crashed and reinstalled Windows reusing my license. This cost me less than I would have expected and my laptop has been running smoothly ever since. Oh, and I got to upgrade to Windows 10. They also once helped me boot my laptop for free when it was stuck in a boot loop. This is definitely my first go-to place for getting any help with my out-of-warranty laptop.read more

Honest, fast service at a perfectly reasonable price. I had a hardware problem with my laptop, and he gave a range of... diagnoses and estimated costs for each possibility on the spot. While it ended up being the simplest (and cheapest) fix he suggested, he could've totally taken me to the cleaners. Awesome!read more

Calvin helped me fix a hardware issue in my Macbook pro. He diagnosed and solved issues very efficiently. His attitude... was very nice. His price is fair. Strongly recommended. My wife recently decided to go for Calvin to fix a bigger issue in her Macbook air. I recently visited Calvin's office again. I was happy to find his business was running well. He got a bigger office and partner named Daniel. Daniel is as capable in work and as nice in attitude. It was him who helped me fix my computer problems. The jobs were well done and he charged me a fair price. Because I'm a returning customer, I even got discount. It was two days ago. My computer has been working fine.read more

Helped me fix my computer (originally brought it when it wasn't turning on, when I got it back he... had also fixed issues I had with the battery life) and was honest about the pricing and his estimate in length of time. My computer's Windows Operating System crashed. I contacted Dell Computers and paid them to fix my computer but the... issues were not resolved over two weeks. I contacted and took my computer to "The Guy Who Fixes Computers" and two days later my computer was fixed. The data on my computer that was very valuable to me was saved. I should preface that this is the first time I've ever written a review for anything online. After experiencing an... issue with my girlfriend's laptop screen, we brought it in to Calvin to have it looked at. He quoted us for the work he saw it might have needed, and we left it. After receiving the fixed computer and paying for the work, the motherboard seemingly fried itself randomly within the next 24 hours. After reviewing this with Calvin - whether or not it might have been the work he had done the day before - he took ownership of the situation and helped us by installing our hard drive into a totally new computer, free of charge. Do I expect or should anyone expect free work from the guy? Obviously not. But in the event of any future computer issues, I know I'll be visiting Calvin first.read more
